I have built my career around improving golf course conditions, developing teams, and helping private clubs make sound long-term decisions for their properties.

My professional development accelerated at Canterbury Golf Club, where I gained extensive experience in championship conditioning, major renovation work, drainage, tree management, irrigation, and high-level private club operations. That experience established the standards I have carried into each superintendent role since.

At Brookfield Country Club, I transitioned into full departmental leadership and became responsible not only for daily course conditioning, but also for staff development, operational planning, budgeting, capital priorities, and communicating the long-term needs of the golf course to club leadership. My focus was on improving playing conditions while also identifying opportunities to strengthen infrastructure, equipment capabilities, and the overall efficiency of the operation.

I currently serve as Golf Course Superintendent at Weymouth Country Club, where I have continued to expand that leadership experience in a challenging operational environment. My responsibilities include maintaining high member expectations, leading the department through staffing and infrastructure challenges, evaluating aging irrigation and equipment systems, prioritizing immediate repairs, and helping define the capital investments necessary to improve the club over the long term.

My approach to golf course management is centered on stewardship. Strong daily conditions are essential, but a superintendent must also understand the condition of the club's assets, anticipate future needs, develop employees, communicate clearly with leadership, and make decisions that position the golf course for sustained success.
